I absolutely loved the decoration at Dourwin. The hotel's interior was elegant and charming, with beautiful antique furniture and paintings that gave it a cozy and nostalgic feel. The common areas were also very well-decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. As a senior woman, I found the hotel's accessibility to be excellent. The hallways and doorways were wide enough for me to easily navigate with my walker, and there were no stairs or steep slopes that could pose a challenge for older guests like myself.

If I had to ask for one thing to make the vacation even better for seniors, it would be to have more attentive staff. The children working there were friendly, but sometimes it felt like they were too busy or not fully aware of the needs of older guests.

The location overlooking the river was breathtaking, and the terrace in my room provided a wonderful spot to relax. The service was top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. The hotel was impeccably clean and filled with thoughtful touches. The road leading to the hotel was a bit steep, but it didn't cause any major issues.

Located near the Douro River, the hotel offers splendid river views. The staff, including Manuela, provides a warm welcome and excellent service. The stone houses are clean and new, with a wonderful pool area and restaurant. The terrace overlooking the river is a great place for breakfast.

I always choose this place for my stay because I have no regrets. At my first stay, the staff helped me with shopping. This place suits me perfectly with Free Wi-Fi, Off-site parking, Air conditioning, and a Flat-screen TV. I'm coming back for Christmas!
